For anyone suffering from hearing loss, Redding ENT offers hearing tests and treatment for hearing loss, including, but not limited to, hearing aids.
Redding ENT Hearing Center offers full-service diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss in people of all ages – young children through elderly.
Our hearing treatment program focuses on:
- diagnosis of hearing loss using audiometry, tympanometry and oto acoustic emission
- lay audiometry in certain circumstances
- discussing hearing aids when they are a good option for a particular hearing loss
The Redding ENT Hearing Loss Treatment Team
Dr Kaplan has been helping patients of all ages with hearing loss since his specialty training in the early 80s. He has extensive experience with complex surgeries of the hearing mechanism. Now, he is bringing that expertise to the fitting of the very latest technology in hearing aids.
Our audiologist is experienced in diagnostic testing for hearing problems in all ages. She has many years of experience in fitting hearing aids.
Hearing Aid Program
Dr Kaplan began the hearing aid program recently to offer this additional service to our patients. Our philosophy for hearing aid fitting is to provide affordable hearing loss rehabilitation.
Sometimes two hearing aids are needed and sometimes none will do. After an examination by the doctor and a comprehensive hearing test, we will discuss the
options and the best choices for each patient. Medication, treatment for ringing, watchful waiting, regular re-checks with ear cleaning, surgery, or hearing aids – all of these possibilities are available here and all will be discussed thoroughly.
If hearing aids are decided upon, you will find that our choices and prices are second to done, including the so-called “discount places.” After delivery of hearing aids, we have the longest free-return policy available.
Hearing loss is very common and can occur at any age. There are a number of causes for hearing loss, and not all of them are helped by a hearing aid. It is not unusual, unfortunately, to see people who have been sold hearing
aids that will not help or that are far too expensive for what the patient needs. It is our goal to fit patients appropriately with realistic expectation for what the aid will really accomplish. Redding ENT Hearing Center has 3 levels of hearing aids designed to suit most every taste and pocketbook.
